Why Liberia?

Fourteen years of civil war has ravaged and devastated this small African country, leaving it completely bankrupt and unable to care for its own. Most affected by the war were children, especially orphans. Liberia has woven a thread into the history of American fabric. In the early 1800’s, some of our founding fathers gave support to the relocation of free slaves to this nation in hope of eradicating slavery. We feel such an urgency to join the wonderful people of Liberia and assist in bringing restoration and healing to their lives.

Our Children

A strong infrastructure, stable economy and sound educational system is important to a nation and Liberians are eager to begin rebuilding. We currently educate village children and provide employment to 14 teachers and staff members.
